Randy Pierce

Randy G. Pierce grew up in the Unity Community of Greene County, where he currently resides. He graduated from Leakesville High School in 1982. He attended Jones County Junior College in 1984-1985, transferred to University of Southern Mississippi in the fall of 1985 and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 1987. He then became a Certified Public Accountant before receiving his Masters Degree in Business Administration from USM. Later, he attended and graduated from Ole Miss Law School where he served as President of the Law School Student Body.

Currently, Randy is an Associate Justice on the Mississippi Supreme Court serving the Southern District, Place Two, which covers twenty-seven South Mississippi Counties. Randy has served as a Chancery Court Judge for the Sixteenth Chancery Court District (Jackson, George and Greene Counties). He is a former State Representative for District 105 in the Mississippi Legislature, where he served as Chairman of the House Education Committee and Appropriations Subcommittee on Public Education. He also served on the Agriculture, Transportation, Corrections, and Judiciary committees.

Randy is a member of the Mississippi Bar, Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, he is also a member of the Jones County Junior College Foundation Board and Pine Burr Area Council for Boy Scouts of America. Also, Randy speaks regularly at Continuing Education Seminars.
