2022 – On the Road Again: Roadmaps to Reconnecting and Restoring Hope

The 43rd Juvenile Justice Symposium theme was “On the Road Again: Roadmap to Reconnecting and Restoring Hope.”

Willie Nelson is widely known for the popular song, “On the Road Again.” The lyrics emphasize rebuilding life opportunities and reuniting with those friends with whom relationships have been built. This song compares with the symposium theme and captures the essence of the need to get back to
our regular livelihood and positive relationships.

As a result of the worldwide pandemic, we have all been weighed down by fears and numerous trials impacting our lives. Our focus for each session is to provide training to help you develop a strategic roadmap to restore the hope we share in the juvenile justice field. We expect that you will leave the symposium with a renewed hope of helping our youth, as well as yourself, to move forward in life. We must believe within ourselves first and build upon positive opportunities and expectations for more tremendous success. Through the various sessions, we desire that you:
* Create a Roadmap to New Goals and Expectations
* Discover Avenues for Reconnecting Relationships with Others
* Restore Opportunities for Future Success.
